My third layout for my spot as Guest Designer at Mad About Scrappin http://www.madaboutscrappin.com.au/store/Default.asp
I wanted to challenge myself a bit with this page . This paper rage lends its self easily to a boy page but could a produce a femine girly page with it . You be the judge >>>

I started by spraying the page with Rudolfs nose Glimmer mist. then I  used the cherry Lynne florish die in gold metalic cardstock matted the photos and lift one of the photos and the other is flat .

The flowers are a new style I have not tried before . I have punched out the Jumbo  EK daisy flower punch . them I took my Marthar Stewart finging scissors and finged eah petal , then I curld each petal . I then did the same with the  medium daisy flower punch . Fringed it then curled it but this time I curled them inwards . I then stuck them down stagering the petals as I went . I inked around the edges of the flower . They remind me of a sun flower .

I added a few glitter butterflies and hearts . and it was done and hey gues what NO hidden journalling . . Hope you all enjoy these pages and Id like to thank Leanne Lovett for giving the oppitunity to share my passion with others Till next time Shazz .
My second page as Guest Designer  http://www.madaboutscrappin.com.au/store/Default.asp at Mad About Scrappin . I really love this page This is my Grandson Tristan who doesnt like getting his photo taking .

I used Bo Bunny Serenade Pattern Paper range  and some new dies I bought The motor bike and the golden shield .I love the mesh on the side can get these at Mad about Scrappin .

The cross necklace isnt showing up real clearamongst the charms , it has a skull and roses on it .

Would my page be complete with out some hidden journalling . Of course not LOL .Enjoy .

Iam so glad to be able to share with you all my exciting news . I was asked to do a design spot for  "Mad About Scrappin " http://www.madaboutscrappin.com.au/store/Default.asp  . I was asked to choose some papers from Leannes online store . I chose  Bo Bunny Serenade Pattern Paper range as I could see right away Boy pages jumping in my head . so here they are .

A bit of destressing and I decided not to ink I liked the white showing threw .

A mixture of grundgey charms and soft handmade spiral flowers .

I used my new Cherry lynne Florish die .

A few more charms ......................

A bit of hidden journalling for good measure and this was my first page done . Make sure you click on the link and check out Mad about Scrappin . Flog it Fridays is pretty awesome if your after a bargin . Stay tuned for next page .

I got busy bright and early this morning and had a play .I found a page on Pintrest that inspired me do something simlar http://pinterest.com/pin/278801033153422509/ . I really am feeling the new Kaiser paper range Pickled Pear. this is a photo of my grandson Oliver ( Olly) with his cousins dog . The photo isnt the best quality but its Uber-cute as Tina would say .

I stamped the background paper with some numbers and a Pickled Pear branch stamp. I then punched out ashape using one of the Lucky 8 punches . I love these punches so easy to use and can change them up so its not always the same punch out every time .I destressed all the edges od paper and inked them then, I layered a bit more paper and cut out some cogs with sizzix Tim Holtz gears dies . I heat embossed them with a mixture of a couple of powders .

I used the daisy punch and made some flowers from the left over paper . Then I used demensional magic over the flowers .I layered some of the cut outs from the Pickled Pear collectables pack ,( love them too easy to get the fussy cut look with out all the work). Added some charms and some bling .

Yep had to use charms this time , the charm on the right hand side is a new one I have in stock now its a clock with filegree around it . Well thats all for now . See you next time Shazz

I did this page this morning . I just wanted to have some messy fun time , and believe me I did . I got my hands a but dirty doing this one . Now thats what Mulberries are all about ! I remember Mulberry fights with my brothers was alway so much fun . This photo was of my grandson Eli's first time eating mulberries and boy did he enjoy it . He loved the feel of them squishing between his fingers. Not sure his Mum was that impressed.

I cut out some wooden plank paper from Kaiser Atittude range then wiped gesso all over it as I didnt like how dark it was, than I stamped  around with kaiser background stamps. Then I sprayed and flicked Shazza's magic mists all over it then I stuck the photo down an inked up the edges and put a layer of crackle acents on the edge of photo . Its not showing up that well put its a pretty cool grudgy look with the crackle edge  .

I sprayed the letters with Glimmer Mist and then inked the edges . I added crackle accents to the heart as well .I also Have added glossy accents to the red drips to make them stand out more .

This messy fun page didnt take long at all and not a charm in sight......YET ........ LOL
Hi all I took my inspiration for this page from a card I found here http://pinterest.com/pin/278801033153381684/ I really like the clean fresh simple style of this card .

But just to keep it interesting I made it a doulbe hidden page . I kept the simple style threw out and Iam pleased with how it turned out . The florish is a new one I just bought from http://greenbankscrapbookshop.com/  It is a Cherry Lyn die and there is three sizes to choose from.

I have punched out the flowers with EK success daisy punch and layered them and added a Kaiser wooden heart . On the inside pages I have just used a heart punch to keep it flat .

Hope you enjoy looking and please leave a comment Untill next time Shazz

Hi all cant believe its been so long since I posted on my blogg . I  went to the Quilt and Craft show in Brisbane last week and went to "The Paper Craft Hub' stand http://thepapercrafthub.com.au/epages/ThePapercraftHub.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/ThePapercraftHub/Categories . I met Emilia the designer of " Francy That" dies . What an awesome woman and so approchable . We talked about trends and dies and all sorts of stuff . I just loved the balloon dies and had to buy it plus serveral other dies as well . Yes I fed my addiction for dies again.  So here is my first page using "Fancy That " Balloon dies ,Iam sure there will be many more  .

I used one of the new 12 x 12  Lucky 8 punches to make the large fancy red paper shape .I bought them from this site https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/211521352283974/  Tenisha has a special on punches at the moment take a look .     I have used  Kaisercraft " Check In" paper range , Tim Holtz film strip , rosette flowers and Charms from my stash. Yes I know Iam addict to charms . Not sure which is worse my addiction to charms or dies LOL.

Too enhance the ballon die cuts a bit more I have used a clound die cut and inked around the edge to make it look like a cloundy sky .
The photo is of my grandson Eli . Eli' Mum has an addiction to professional  photo shoots .( Hmmmm wonder where she gets that from) These are the latest ones she had done .  Super cute not that Iam bias or any thing LOL

Hope you enjoy the page and take time to  look at the new dies Emilia has on the site as well as some of usual favorites untill next time" stay sain keep crafting"   Cheers Sharon

I decided to  try the same page again with different cut out . The last post was a heart . Iam very happy with how it turned out although I think a wedding or engagement photo would have suited this page better . I dont even have any lovey dovey photos as I have been single for 10 years and 3 of my grown up children are single and the one that is in a relationship I have no photos of .

I have used spellbinders flower dies and a dynamics flower die ,I cant remember what the brand name of the small round spiral die is but its a light blue coloured die .  The florishes are a spellbinders die  . The white background has spacer inbetween so the photos are recessed on the black cardstock .

The flowers all have pearls in the centre and the butterflies are silver foil paper . The hearts are punched out of red glitter paper ,

Who's thinking Christmas ? Iam. I needed to come up with a new idear for small gifts for our work Christmas party so I have been playing I recon this cupcake box is so stinking cute .I have used the bigshot pro die and cut it out in foil cardstock . I have thought of heaps of things that you could put inside . Cupcakes, Christmas cake,  Christmas puddings ,lollies, rocky road cupcakes,

I had A photo on the cut out flower tag but removed it for this blog entry thats why the glue is there . .The other side of the flower is white so you can stamp Merry Christmas on it .The lid has acetate to cover the whole.

I only have to make another 60 LOL.

Monday, 3 September 2012

Another page I completed this morning . A nice grungy boy page just for something a little different LOL The handsome boy in the photo is my 6 year old grandson Brennick . Firstly I masked the paper and sprayed it, then I scraped texture paste over it and stamped into the texture paste ,than I spayed some more of my magic mica spray over it .

Then while that was drying I destressed and scratched and tore the photo . I  stuck the photo down and stamped over the page and the photo.

I cut out some gears with my new spellbinders die ( had to do a page with them to justify buying  them ) heat embossed some of them and inked others and layered them down .

Had to add a bit of bling . I never feel a page is complete with out a bit of bling and just a few charms from my stash .

I used some drink can tabs to the page as he is holding a can of soft drink. No I dont let him drink Pepsi thats my addiction LOL . I coloured the tabs with alcohol ink before I stuck them down .

Once again I have added a spot to put some journaling on later . Sometimes I let the kids write their own journaling . Thats always a laugh .

I had no classes today so I took some time to scrap .This photo is of my oldest daughter Aimee and my grandson Eli, her nephew. Its such a nice photo of them both together and Eli adores his Aunty.

Yep have made a banner again but their so cute, I have  used Fiesta Flags die (Fancy That dies) Kaiser paper and ribbon flowers and crochet lace ribbon and cardstock.

I have used my heat gun and melted the ribbon flowers I like they way they look when I do this .
I have used some hidden journaling again I put white cardstock on it for the photo so it shows up really well .I changed it to cream once I took this photo .

I got my inspiration for this page from a card which I do a lot . Here is the link http://pinterest.com/pin/278801033152970371/ Have a look and let me know what you think .

Wednesday, 29 August 2012

I have a bit of a boy thing happening at the moment LOL . For this page I have use Kaiser Old World paper range . It is only 80c a sheet Got to be happy with that . This photo of my son is not a great shot as he took it himself  but I really wanted to use it To remind me that everyones prespective is different because I do tend to forget this sometimes .

I really love the new little bunting charms that I got this week .I thought that they would be great for cards ,but dont they look good on a page too .

Iam always asked about putting flowers on a male page and I tell people I do  . Having said that you really need to look closely at your page and what type of  flowers will work . I have used block resin kaiser flowers here and the big bronze flower has a black gem in the centre . The large flower blends well with the gears I used . In the end it really comes down to wether you like it or not . There are no set rules , go ahead and try it if it doesnt work try something else.Sometimes Ill spend hours laying things on the page before I find what I like and I think works well on the page.

I have used the same sketch from two posts ago .

"Your Most Favorite Jumper"
I have used Kaiser 13th Hour paper not my most favorite paper ranger (challenged by Ann the Boss at Kaiser to use this range for October ) the colours went well with the photos. I have a bit of a banner and ticket addicition at the moment . Love them . I have used lots of my charms on the overlaying banner .

The small clock inside the embelishment is a pull tab with hidden journalling .  I do a lot of hidden journalling because my pages end up in shops for all to see and I dont always want everyone to read what I write its for my son when Iam no longer here to remind him of this moment.

Everyone knows I love bling but adding it to boy pages isnt always easy ,But I think it works well on this page to add a bit of texture and sparkle . .

Two of the photos are mounted and two are flat as is the black clock and large bird at the top of first photo .
