Hi everyone I am sharing a canvas I have made for a friend's birthday . I saw one on Pintrest that used scraps and thought it was a really great idea . I am really happy with how it has turned out although  I am not sure if I'll leave it just like this or add to it . Its still brewing in my mind .but I would be happy with it just like this .

So I started by gluing down some strips of paper, then I painted gesso  over the top of those strips . Next I glued on some  random negatives from my chipboard images and painted gesso over them as well  .

Next I sprayed some of my home made Mica mists over it all . I did one coat dried it then did another .Until I was happy .Than I painted gesso over it again using a stipling brush ,Untill I was happy with the effect . Then I rubbed it all over with Inka Gold rub in two colours .

Then I added some hand made flowers .I painted some chip board letters with gesso then coated them with dimensional magic and added some beads.

Was really happy with how the beads look like ice and I didn't want the title to over power the rest of the canvas . Hope my friend likes it . Until next time stay safe and keep creating .

Hi everyone here is a page I have completed . I saw a page on Pintrest and they had used a punch on the edges of the page and again on the photo edge . I liked the idea and tried it out for my selfusing an EK circles punch . It distresses the photo in a different way .

The are two types of flowers I have used on this page . There are apricot ones from petaloo and the white and gold ones are punches I bought . They are pretty cool you punch with one and then emboss with the other .They make super cute .

The gold feathers are a new die I purchased at TJ"s Srappin in Style at Woodridge .

And of course it wouldn't be my page if there wasn't a few of my charms thrown in for good measure . Thank you for looking .

Here is another project I did last week using some more Viva products .Toni from  https://www.facebook.com/TjsScrappinWithStyle showed me how to make this very textured background using Viva Ferro and Viva Precious metal colour .

I love this grungy look and just had to continue the grunge theme with some chipboard cogs also covered in Ferro and  Inka Gold rubbed over them.

I love the depth and texture you can achieve with this technique .I added some charms ,wouldn't be me if it had no charms now would it .I have rubbed some of the Precious Metal colour over the charms as well .

Layered some gauze and distressed and inked some cardboard and down the left hand side I have placed some cut out paper cogs using a new release Cherry Lynn cogs die .

To finish it all off and keep it looking grungy I added some steal wool, unused of course .

Hope you enjoyed looking .
Hi I completed a page today I got my inspiration from a page I found on Pintrest http://pinterest.com/pin/278801033154944153/

Have used a few different Kaiser  ranges of paper . I have used texture paste with a reverse brick mask on the back ground then sprayed it with Magic mica mist and embossed a hesin stamp by heartfelt creations .

I punched the edges of the wood grain paper and inked it with black ink . I die cut some banners using the Tim Holtz Tattered banner die and inked around the edges.

I cut chipboard cogs out and inked them with black ink first and then I used Viva Gold paste on them . The colours I used where  Hematith and Kupfer .I also used the Kupfer on the title . The letters are cut from old pepsi cans . I love how once this paste dries you can buff it up and it becomes shinny like metal .

I added some gauze and hesin under the photo mat .I also added just a few charms .

The photo matt opens and there is room for more photos and journaling under . It is held shut with a magnet .
Thanks for looking .

A new page I have completed of two of my beautiful granddaughters .
I started by using impasto and a mask . I dried it off a little and them rubbed a bit of silver mica powder over it so its more subtle than texture paste .

Than I layered some strips of paper down to look  like ribbon . I added some lace

I used some cut out letters and painted " Cousins" white and  put dimensional magic over them and added white seed beads , to give them  plenty of texture. I have distressed the edge of the photo really heavily .

.I used some tags that come as part of this Kaiser paper range.  Over the top of the tags I have placed a wire heart that I made . I made the beaded branches on both side and added flowers to it .I think they look as good as the ones prima use to sell .

A close up of the impasto with mica on it .

Hi again here is a page I did for Kaiser last month .

I have made the flower from punched out hearts and I really enjoyed this page all of the paper is layered as well

Hi Everyone I posted a photo of a She Art canvas I did a few weeks ago you may remember it of not go back a few posts and check it out . I am just updating the photo as I did a bit more to it . O used my copic markers and did a bit of shading on the dress .

I think it really makes the dress stand out more with a bit of shading add to it . You can use the makers anywhere on the canvas but I love doing the dresses like this . Hope you have enjoyed looking .

Hi everyone here is a new project I have completed . I saw on pintrest a photo from the prima site (sorry cant find it now) they had joined two canvases with hinges to make a swinging photo frame  . I thought it what a great idea so I set about to make my own . Here it is . The canvases I have used are the deep ones and 12 x12". Here is the front .

It has lots of layers of  Kaiser "On This Day "range of paper,  lace, gesso, stamping ,washi tape, magic mica mists and embellishments .

Some close up shots .

when you open the canvas up you have the area to put a photo on both sides .

The inside of front canvas .

Inside of the back canvas.

A photo to see what it would look like . I want to put wedding photos in it but as Iam not married  and neither are any of my children I don't have any wedding photos but Cass has offered to put some in it for display at the shop .

More close ups
I will be teaching this as a class in July at Kaiser Browns plains will post dates as I know .

Hi yes am back and so quick . Here is a page I did before I hurt my shoulder . Just haven't had time to post it . I have used Kaiser cardstock and colectables pack On this Day .

I have used a  brick stencil with texture paste , distressed and inked the edges, than sprayed and spatted mist over the page . I then used dimensional Magic over the slats to make them look more like drew drops .

I distressed two pieces of paper and used as a photo mat, than I have stamped a piece of acetate with a fame stamp  from Kaszazz  and layered it over the photo. I  glued down some crochet lace and gauze and inked them both . I layered all the collectables on the page some a mounted on foam mounting tape .

To add to the final touch I have used dimensional Magic and Glitter over some of the pieces to make them pop . Hope you enjoy looking at my work .

Hi everyone What sort of weekend did you have I have had a very busy one. But I still found time to do a bit of she art , was a bit hard as I am disabled at the moment . I hurt my shoulder and have my arm in a sling . Thank goodness its my left arm and I can still do a bit . I went to my friend Heidi Williams place over the weekend and did a She Art canvas . I had lots of fun and tried out my new Dylusion doll stamps . It is called Night At The Opera. These stamp do not have heads on them and I really wanted a head on mine ,so I stamped out a head from the Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamps and put it on the Dylusions stamped image .

I think it worked out rather well joining the two stamps to get this image . I am really loving these stamps they make she art so easy to do .

Let me know what you think cheers Sharon

Hi everyone another page must found my mojo hey # pages in two days and a fourth half done . Painful when work gets in the way of my creativity lol. Well this page is a bit plainer than my usual style although I am not sure I have a style I am a bit random I feel . Any way this page is a very pale purple as its Christee's ( in photo ) favourite colour .I used a small bottle and stamped it on the page using mica mist that I watered down .

Layered on some strips of Purple Haze from Kaiser collection . Made some branches with the new beads I am selling . they look good with either silver or gold wire .I punched out flower and scrunched it up using a Kaiser bad in centre . The lace is from my collection .Resin angel from prima

The resin bird is one of my charms I sell. I have use a bit of acrylic paint on it to get a colour I like . and some washi tape over the edge . Pretty simple quick page .

As I said I have done another page so I thought Id show a few of the steps as I did the page . I didn't have any Kaiser paper left so I decided to make my own . Firstly I stamped over a piece of white cardstock with a few different background stamps .Then I cut strips of paper and stuck them down in a weave kind of pattern . Then I smeared gesso over the top of just the strips of paper to tone it done a bit . When I had dried it of I sprayed over a few colours of mica mist mostly on the strips of paper and flicked a few  splatters over the rest of the page .

After I had sprayed the mica mist over the page I stamped some more around the edge of the paper to help blend it a bit more .

Close up of stamping .I love this new background stamp from Kaiser .

I added the photo .

I layered on my embellishments . The white and black fame has shiny like a mirror in the centre .I have lots of little bits here and there showing . I love tyring to put as much as possible on a page . I am a more is better kinda girl lol

Close ups of the little bits .

Hi everyone wanted to share a page I did yesterday . I have used Kaiser paper Attitude and 75 cents .Its was inspired by both  Georgia Herald and Finnabair's work  .Two very talented ladies who inspire me all the time with their great talent.

I have cut up strips of  paper and stuck them down then wiped gesso over the top . After I dried the gesso I sprayed my mica mists over it flicking a bit here and there . Once that had dried I stamped over the paper with a Kaiser background stamp .

I layered some embellishments and flowers love the wooden Kaiser cogs , added a few of my charms and chain .

Close up of the stamping and mica mist . I had a lot of fun with this page and it all came together quite quickly think Ill do another one . lol .
