A new page I completted this morning . I have used a mask and double sprayed with Shazzas magic mica mists . I used Tom Holtz die cut and made the banners out of the out edge of the die cut . The paper is Kaiser .

I really love this photo of my grandchildren and my niece , the only problem was it was so colourful it took me a while to decide on a colour scheme that would work well with out over taking the photo . I love the new big silver daisy flowers I have ordered in ,they look just like the Pima mechanical ones and I haveordered  them in three sizes this is the largest one .

I have seen a lot of people using mico beads in chipboard letters .This is a great way to add texture to your page . I painted the letters first with white paint and then I coated them with Glossy accents and then sprinkled beads over them .

I had fun playing with this page and it came together so quickly .

Here is a page I did inspired by Finnabair I have been trying to load these photos for two days now but my blog has been rejecting them . I have not used any prima products on this page at all . I find it really hard to get the new Prima mechanicals and when I do find them on the net they are so dear it would cost me a small foutune for each page . So I have used what I have . Oh yes I have used mostly Kaiser paper and flowers and the bingo card is too oh and there are wooden cogs and florishes that are Kaiser . The rest are all charms that I sell threw my Facebook page Mirrabooka Scrapbooking .

I have placed a spider on the layout and then to achieve the web effect I placed Angelina fibre all over the top and metled it with my heat gun . I did this twice Some times it does stick and just shinks into a ball so you have to play a bit to get it how you like it .

I have spayed a black homemade mica mist on the black ground and then used a small bottle dipped into it  to get the small circle effect . That is the only mist I have used . The colour is from the paper and flowers and inked florishes abit diffferent to how Finn does it .

Hope you enjoy looking at my creations Stay safe untill next time .

Hi again how time has flown lately . I have been busy Teaching mixed Media classes ,but still had time to do some classes with Finnabair when she was in Brisbane . I really enjoyed these classes . I have a few pages I havent post here yet as I havent had time to take photos before hanging them in the shops . Poor excuse I know . I also had a problem with my eye last week my grandson poked me in the eye and it developed into an ulcer trip to two hospitals to have it treat I could see out of my eye for several days it all good now and all my sight has returned.Aynway I had a play this afternoon and made a She Art Canvas so her it is .

These canvases are so much fun to do . I love my Prima Mixed Media doll stamps they make she art so easy , with this one I have scrunched up tissue paper and glued it under the dress to make it pop up doesnt show up in photo .The shimmer isnt showing up to great either but it still looks great .

Well hello everyone can you see the big smile on my face Its because of the great weekend I had .
Yes you guessed it I spent the weekend learning How Finnabair creates her amazing mixed media projects . I had a really great time and learnt a lot and got to play with products I have never used before . It was really hot all weekend here in Brisbane and for the first time since I got my solar hot water on I can say it is Sunny Queensland .The weather didnt stop anyones eagerness to learn. There where some ladies there that had come all the way from Lismore for the classses and one from NZ . I asked her why she didnt just wait for Finn to get to NZ as it was next on her tour . The Lady said she was only doing two classes at the NZ leg of the tour and she wanted to do all four so she came to Brissy to do them. Now thats dedicated .

Me and Finn , Iam your bigest fan follow you untill you love me !!!!LOl

Some of my Facebook friends Tina Connelly , Nicole Nopke ,Julia AKA Mumma Bear, Allison Bevis. Yeah I know I am looking a bit wierd in the back there .

Finn doesnt use paint trays she just uses her hand to mix colour on so Tina and I followed suit in true Finn style ..

I will add photos of my finished creations in the next couple of days . Stay tuned and stay safe Shazza
